Violinist
Was born in Bucharest, Romania. After completing his training as a violinist in Bucharest (Octavian Ratiu and Stefan Gheorghiu – College of Arts), he continued to study in Switzerland (Anne Bauer, Pierre Amoyal, Karen Turpie). He received important impulses as musician and human being from Igor Bezrodny (Music Conservatory Moscow and Music Academy Helsinki). Other enriching moments were the encounters with great artists and educators of our time such as Paul Badura Skoda, Igor Ozim, Sylvia Rosenberg, Franco Gulli, Ana Chumachenko, Detlef Hahn.
An intensive activity as an orchestra musician, concertmaster, pedagogue, soloist, coach and consultant follows from 1995.
As a laureate of national and international competitions, he has worked and acts as a soloist, chamber musician and concertmaster (inter alia Sinfonietta Bern, Neuchâtel Symphony Orchestra, Neuchâtel Chamber Orchestra, Zurich String Soloists, Zurich Symphony Orchestra). For more than 10 years this activity has been supplemented by several apprenticeships in music institutions in Switzerland as well as the foundation and leadership of several youth orchestras.
