BIOGRAPHY

Ioan Cornelius Gramatic

Was born in Bucharest, Romania. After completing his training as a violinist in Bucharest (Octavian Ratiu and Stefan Gheorghiu – College of Arts), he continued to study in Switzerland (Anne Bauer, Pierre Amoyal, Karen Turpie). He received important impulses as musician and human being from Igor Bezrodny (Music Conservatory Moscow and Music Academy Helsinki). Other enriching moments were the encounters with great artists and educators of our time such as Paul Badura Skoda, Igor Ozim, Sylvia Rosenberg, Franco Gulli, Ana Chumachenko, Detlef Hahn.

An intensive activity as an orchestra musician, concertmaster, pedagogue, soloist, coach and consultant follows from 1995.

Since 2012, the entrepreneurial side has become increasingly important, ARTES fine violins and ARTES fines auctions are founded. Other companies in the areas of consulting, retail, travel and education followed.
